Favorite day of the year!

In honor of my favorite day of the entire year (the end of daylight savings time), I decided I should write on my blog! Today has been exceptionally great because we have had such a productive morning. We all woke up at 8 and played for a while. I got Brookie all dressed up and did her hair, which turned out super cute! Her hair is getting so long that she has real pigtails now. They even had little curls in them! She looked adorable. I had an enrichment meeting, and Jeff had PPI's to do. I took Brook with me, and she was so good. I couldn't believe it! Then she and I came home and made a scrumptious breakfast and cleaned the kitchen. (That is a big deal for me, as I have become so lazy about cleaning haha!) I also made brownies for dinner with Jeff's family tonight. I was going to go to church, but Brook is asleep. I didn't have the heart to wake her up. She would have had to wait extra long for her nap with the time change, and I didn't have the heart. (or the patience, let's be honest) :) I have a feeling Jeff and I will just have to take turns going to church until we switch to the 9:00 schedule. I am really looking forward to that. I feel inactive because I have missed so much church with Brook.
Anyway, for those of you who were wondering, I survived midterms! SIGH! I studied tons for the one I knew would be the hardest, and it turned out better than I expected. Then one of my teachers decided to take pity on us and let us write about what we have learned so far this semester (closed book). It was so much easier than actually taking a test. And I finished my huge open-book midterm last week as well. Now that those are over, lots of other deadlines are coming up! It just never ends. This week, I am doing a diagnostic session with a 2-year-old boy. He is not talking, so his mom is bringing him in. We all get a client we have to do a diagnostic on this semester. Mine will be kind of fun because it will be several different play assessments to try to get him to do certain behaviors and basically just observe how he communicates. I am practicing the big test on my nephew later today to help relieve some of my anxiety and give me a better understanding of what the heck I am doing! My supervisor will probably be in there most of the time with me, but I would like to look like I know what I am doing, ya know? I think it will be fun though.
Brooklynn has just grown up so fast! She is now saying: "mine," "baby," "hi dadda" (not hi momma!), and "tooter" (scooter). She can also point to her nose, her mouth, her belly, and her piggies (toes). I just can't believe how grown up she is! She has been my little buddy this weekend too, which I love because I don't see her all week. She keeps sitting on my lap and snuggling me. She has also started pulling me to the kitchen to get what she wants. That is pretty funny. I just love her! Of course, the rest of the week, she and Jeff are buddies. She gets so upset when he leaves her. It's really sweet. I am glad they have each other! I think Jeff enjoys it as well.
Oh yeah! Jeff like deep-cleaned the kitchen this week. WOW! I never thought I would see the day. And of course ever since, he has been on my case about keeping it clean. This is a new side of Jeff. He is taking over all my duties. I am so lucky to have such a great partner and husband. He takes good care of us. :)

Alright, I'm totally adding you to my blog list! I'm a frequent blogger and blogger-checker ;).

Cute blog!

I will be happy, too, when the time changes to 9:00.

Way to go Jeff for cleaning the kitchen! I love it when Nate randomly cleans things up so I don't have to!
